Berry-Inspired Shrub & Salad Workshop- Friday June 20, 2025 from 12pm-1pm

Kick off Berry Fest with a flavorful, hands-on experience led by Janice Bell, owner of Arome Redmond! In this engaging outdoor workshop, you'll learn to make a delicious drinking shrub (mocktail) and a fresh, seasonal salad using Arome’s gourmet balsamic vinegars and olive oils alongside local produce from Schilling’s Farm Stand.

What You’ll Experience:
– Learn what a shrub is and how to infuse it with local, seasonal berries (Berry variety TBD!)
– Make and taste a vibrant, garden-fresh summer salad with vinaigrette
– Take home a 12oz bottle of a handcrafted shrub
– Receive a pint of fresh, seasonal berries to take home (variety TBD!)
– Enjoy expert instruction from Janice, who brings deep culinary passion and experience to the table

Meet Your Instructor:
Janice Bell is the founder and owner of Arome Redmond. Raised on a small family farm in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Janice combines her agricultural roots and engineering background to curate and share exceptional gourmet goods. Since opening Arome in 2017, she’s been passionate about helping people connect with food in meaningful and flavorful ways.

Things to Know:
This class is held outdoors on the patio—please dress accordingly for the weather.
Seats are limited and 
registration is required.
Snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the farm stand.
No outside beverages allowed.

Cancelation Policy:

Cancel by June 13th (1 week in advance) you will receive a full refund. Schilling’s Garden Market gift card will be issued for cancelations after June 13th (anything less than a week). In the case of unforeseen circumstances where SGM would need to cancel i.e. fires, pandemic, a full refund will be issued.
