Cactus Care in Central Oregon
Saturday, May 23 | 11am–12pm
$25 per person
Yes, you can grow cactus here.
Join Julie Lay of Smith Rock Cactus Garden as she shares what she’s learned growing over 60 varieties right here in Central Oregon. From picking the right plants to keeping them happy through winter, this is a simple, practical class for anyone curious about adding cactus to their landscape.
We’ll cover:
• Hardy varieties that actually do well here
• Basic care and watering
• How to propagate your own
We’ll also have a selection of cactus available after the class if you’re ready to get started.
Class will be held outside—dress for the weather.
Registration includes one draft or non-alcoholic drink from the Farm Stand. Snacks and drinks available at the farm stand (no outside beverages).
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change! Cancel at least 10 days before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made within 10 days of the event will receive a Schilling’s Garden Market gift card.
If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund.
